Shooting Stars

Watching shooting stars from the garden early this morning in wellies and dressing gown reminded me of all our friends and family connections across the globe so we are resurrecting the family blog. Hope this gets off the ground this time round and enables us to keep in touch more. Gulls

Alastair went looking for some gulls and found some.

Snow

It snowed today so Louise decided we should go over the moor towards Evie and stop on the highest point. Luckily cars stayed on road despite absence of winter tyres.

On the beach

Yesterday we went to Stromness after the Saturday netball but before going into town we mooched about on the beach.

Late announcement, we've moved. We left North Yorkshire in late October and now we live on Orkney. It's taken a little while to get the blog up and going, it's also taken a little while to unpack most of the boxes and turn the house into a home.
